SFCC Catch Database
The SFCC Catch database application is a catch recording system for use by Anglers or Angling clubs to record Anglers catches and to produce individual and group statistics by Species, Place caught, weather conditions, fishing method and other criteria.
MDIS developed the system in collaboration with Infocomp Ltd of Durham, and the Scottish Fisheries Co-ordinating Centre who sponsored the development, with the intention of helping anglers to make more comprehensive catch returns to the SFCC, who have the role of collecting and analysing data on the Fresh Water fisheries in Scotland.
The system allows anglers to record complete details of all fish caught with detail of Place, time, date, methods used, and to add comments, photographs and any other scanned documents such as diagrams or maps. Reports and results can be viewed on screen, printed or exported to html or text files.
