Data Import and Translation

This application was developed to enable the clients (Northumbrian Warmzones) to import survey results into their main database. The results came from a number of different sources and in varied formats.

The application enables users to create mappings between the source data and fields in the target database, and bulk import the source data. Translations between data types and value ranges can also be set up (eg Numeric to Alpha).

The default update action property can be set to update or ignore existing values in the target field and to Update or Leave the existing value where a source data field is empty.
